With a visionary approach and a steadfast commitment to excellence, Jean Paul has led CenterCal Properties in developing and operating some of the nation's most admired retail environments and mixed-use spaces. Under Jean Paul's leadership, CenterCal has distinguished itself by creating properties that serve as community hubs—integrating retail, residential, workspace and recreational environments. His strategic vision emphasizes sustainability, architectural innovation, and community focus, aligning perfectly with the company’s core values of integrity, high standards, and creative persistence.

Jean Paul's career in real estate development spans over three decades, marked by a series of successful projects that have transformed the built environment and enhanced community life. His expertise in negotiating, development and management has fueled CenterCal's growth and solidified its reputation in the industry. Before founding CenterCal Properties (originally CenterOak Properties) in 1998, Jean Paul was Vice President, Acquisitions with the Alexander Haagen Company where he was responsible for the successful acquisition of more than 20 shopping centers. 

A firm believer in the role world-class destinations play in uplifting communities, Jean Paul actively participates in various industry forums, including the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers where he contributes to shaping future trends in urban development. Jean Paul holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Jean Paul currently resides in Newport Beach with his wife and their two children.
